Asparagus For Cancer

Article: Asparagus to Cure Cancer

Can asparagus cure cancer? I really don't know.  I have heard it shrinks tumors so it's worth a shot.

My dad has colorectal cancer  and will begin radiation treatments and chemotherapy for the next three months, then radical surgery, followed by another six months of chemotherapy. He is 73 years old.  This is going to be the toughest fight of his life and a very rough year for all of us.

We are feeding him asparagus three times a day! It certainly can't hurt.

And this is my Daily Cyn.....

  1. This is indeed tragic and so very painful for your father, you and all who know and love your him. I am praying daily for all of you and we have group prayer at my church every Wednesday and Saturday. We all offer our prayers for your father. Of course, your father should be encouraged to eat vegetables and fruits and to abstain from meat as much as possible. Dr. Andrew Weil has some excellent nutritional advise which you should examine. http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/ART00670/colon-cancer-overview.html If your father has definitely decided on the
radiation/chemothery/surgery treatment, antioxidant supplements might not be advisable. However Tumeric and CoQ10 could help. As these treatments have unpleasant side effects including nausea, depression and insomnia, blackberry, fenugreek, ginger, cinnamon, peppermint, St. Johns wort, saw palmetto, valerian and Kava may be helpful. I would also encourage you to examine the Gerson treatment as an alternative. If it was me or someone close to me I would prefer this treatment. I believe it to be more effective. http://www.gerson.org/
