When someone constantly accuses you of something; most likely they are guilty of it themselves.
Jesus said it best and I will paraphrase:
Before you try to take the splinter out of another person's eye, remove the 2x4 from yours!
In other words, people will nit-pick, accuse, and shame you over the very things they see in themselves. And their offense is usually greater and more terrible than the thing for which you are being judged.
This is called the BIG COVER-UP! It makes them look and feel better and justifies their own wrong-doings. They simply shift the focus on you so you cannot see what is wrong with them.
This puts you in a weakened state of body, mind and spirit. You spend your time and energy trying to prove your innocence. It's nothing more than a subtle but dangerous form of abuse.
This kind of person is NOT YOUR FRIEND. He is your enemy. Run as fast as you can and don't look back.
A true friend......
loves, hopes, and believes the very best about you.
rejoices with you when you are happy and successful.
weeps with you when you are sad.
never kicks you when you are down, but tries everything possible to lift you up and help you stand.
always tells you the truth, but will do so with kindness and compassion.
never uses your faults, mistakes or weaknesses to hurt you.
never judges you without admitting their own guilt first.
Look for these qualities in friends and lovers. Nourish these qualities in yourself.
Never settle for anything less.......
And this is my Daily Cyn........
